 Keller Trucking is partnering with Defiance Holy Cross Catholic School in a campaign to collect slightly used shoes for people around the world. The organization's website is www.GiveShoes.org.
We have donated a trailer which is being decaled by Delbert. He is doing this for material cost only. We will collect shoes up until the time we leave which is mid-June. I will be driving the truck to Nashville, TN to deliver the shoes. We have collected over 3000 pairs and it only takes up about 15 feet of the trailer. Obviously, I cannot go with half a trailer. So, please bring in your gently used shoes that you don't want anymore.We are taking all kinds like slippers, flip flops, tennis shoes and dress shoes. Please tie or rubberband them together. You think it is hard to find shoes that match imagine pairing shoes when 50,000 are in a pile. I appreciate any shoes you can donate...bring them to my office.
