Modifying Existing Equipment |
Situation: This client was shipping two loads a day when all they needed was a better way to load trailers to more effectively utilize space. Their product was too fragile and odd shaped that made double stacking impossible. The client had no other option than to pay two trucks to deliver what could easily fit on one if the product would only allow it.
Solution: We devised a way to outfit a regular 53’ van with a racking system that would give the customer access to two levels on which to load product. In this case, we essentially doubled the amount of floor space available to our customer and thus eliminating the need for a second truck, saving the client time and shipping costs. |
